This week is the annual strange week across the state for high school football. For just this week, Friday is now Thursday. With much of the state on fall break this week, the majority of games will take place on Thursday. There are still plenty of games on Friday, including some of the best games in the state in Jenks vs. Westmoore and Lawton vs. Edmond Santa Fe. Fear not! We have plenty of coverage lined up for both nights, so you won't miss a bit of the best games this week, no matter which night they fall on.

Just like we do each and every week, we need your help to gather the scores from all the games across the stat. There are plenty of ways to do that, so help us out and send us the score from whichever game you're at each week.

Here are previews of some of the week's biggest games.

No. 1 Jenks at No. 4 Westmoore

This clash of 6A unbeatens could very well determine the winner in District 2. Having already beaten Broken Arrow 28-7 last week, Jenks (6-0) has the edge. But don't discount Westmoore (6-0) in this one. The Jaguars haven't lost at home in a full calendar year and boast an offense that cranks out 35 points per game.

Running back Kieron Hardrick ranks second in 6A with 11 rushing touchdowns but he's not Westmoore's only offensive option. Receiver Dahu Green has 27 receptions for 449 yards and six touchdowns on the season and quarterback Bryson Lee is nearly the best in the class in completion percentage (67.8) and sixth in passing touchdowns (11).

However, the Trojan defense is intimidating. With a secondary led by two of the top players in the state, Steven Parker and Dylan Harding, Jenks has allowed just 14 total points in the past two games. Friday's Fall Break matchup with Westmoore is easily the toughest foe remaining on the Trojans' schedule.

Could the favorites overlook the Jaguars? It would cause a major shakeup in the 6A outlook if the Jaguars were able to pull off the upset.

No. 7 Cascia Hall at No. 5 Poteau

The Poteau Pirates are undefeated and looking to all but wrap up a district title with a win over Cascia Hall on Thursday night. Cascia Hall had their 54-game district winning streak snapped earlier this season with a last-second loss to Sallisaw, but can regain control of the district race with a win over the Pirates.

The Pirates are led by quarterback Jace Pitchford, who has thrown for 869 yards and 14 touchdowns and run for 546 yards and eight touchdowns. Pitchford's effort leads a Pirate offense averaging 43 points and 330 yards per game this season.

Cascia Hall is led by quarterback Michael Bloomfield, who has 590 yards and nine touchdowns through the air so far this season. Miguel Rosendo has rushed for 512 yards while scoring four touchdowns to pace the Commandoes on the ground. Wide receiver Reece Lambert has been Bloomfield's favorite target, hauling in 27 passes for 421 yards and six touchdowns.

It's rare a district race can be wrapped up so early, especially since there are four teams at 2-1 behind Poteau. However, if the Pirates win, they'll move to 4-0 with three games to play. It's not a guarantee Poteau will win the district, but it's a stranglehold the rest of the district will struggle to overcome.

Here are the games we'll be at this week.
