We're halfway through the high school football season and the playoff picture is anything but settled. This week should offer a small glimpse into how that picture will shape up, as there are several massive district matchups across all classes, including Jenks vs. Broken Arrow, Carl Albert vs. Guthrie, Clinton vs. Anadarko, Lawton vs. Southmoore and Oklahoma Christian School vs. Millwood.

Just like we do each and every week, we need your help to gather the scores from all the games across the stat. There are plenty of ways to do that, so help us out and send us the score from whichever game you're at each week.

We have previews of some of the biggest games of the week:

Jenks vs. Broken Arrow

Huge district battles are taking place across the state this week, one of which is the game for first place in district 6A-2 between Broken Arrow and Jenks.

The Trojans, No. 1 in class 6A and rolling so far this season, have won three of the past four matchups with the Tigers, with Broken Arrow pulling out a win in 2011.

Jenks has taken things to another level so far in district play, outscoring Edison and Sapulpa by a combined score of 100-21. The Trojans went to Sapulpa last week and destroyed the previously-undefeated Chieftains, 59-7.

Quarterback Cooper Nunley leads an offense scoring 38.4 points per game this season with 769 passing yards and 10 touchdowns. His favorite target has been receiver Dylan Harding, who has 232 yards receiving and three touchdowns.

Cameron Booty leads the Jenks ground attack with 308 yards rushing and three touchdowns so far this year.

The Jenks defense was the catalyst of last season's state championship run and that has not changed this year. The Trojans are giving up 17.6 points per game and are very balanced across the board. No player has more than 37 tackles and three players have at least two sacks. Safety Steven Paker leads the team with two interceptions.

The Tigers come in averaging 35 points per game, led by quarterback Coleman Key and a good group of running backs. Key thrown for 898 yards and 12 touchdowns so far, 320 of those yards going to leading receiver Austin Reed, who also has three touchdowns.

Running back Devon Thomas has been hampered by injuries this year, but has still managed 302 yards and a touchdown on the ground so far. Jamal Shaw has filled in nicely for Thomas, racking up 392 yards of his own in a backup role.

The defense has been terrific all season outside of a 38-21 loss to Union. The Tigers are giving up 17.4 points per game and 257 yards per game. They're led by Alex Bradley, who has 59 tackles and six sacks so far this season, one of the top performers in 6A.

With Westmoore looking to move to 3-0 in district this week against Putnam City, the Trojans and Tigers will be battling to keep pace with the Jaguars atop the district standings. This game is big already, but is even more so since both Jenks and Broken Arrow have to travel to Westmoore this year, Jenks traveling down the turnpike next week. It should be a great game in Jenks on Friday night.

Guthrie at Carl Albert

Although it's not quite to Jenks-Union level, the domination by Carl Albert and Guthrie is far from conspicuous. The two have combined to win six of the last nine 5A state championships and are on the short list of year-in-year-out contenders.

The top-ranked Blue Jays are on a three-game winning streak against their district rival and nobody has come close to touching Guthrie this year. The Jays average 52.3 points per game and their average margin of victory is 45 points. Kai Callins and Idae Alexander each broke 100 yards rushing last week against Western Heights. Callins is the fourth leading rusher in 5A at 133.6 yards per game and has 15 rushing touchdowns halfway through the regular season.

Meanwhile, after losing 21-17 to the Jays in early October last year, the Titans coolly righted their season and won eight straight games and the 5A title. Stevie Thompson ran for two scores and threw for another in a 35-21 win against Bishop McGuinness last week and has accounted for 17 total touchdowns on the season. Thompson is 5A's fifth leading rusher at 132.4 yards per contest.
