Terry served 19 years for the City of Edmond and the Edmond Police Department as a patrol officer and detective.

His funeral will take place at 3:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church at 1001 S. Rankin. He'll then be buried at Memorial Park Cemetery. Terry will receive full police honors at both services, and there will be a full honor guard processional from the Edmond Fire Department and multiple law enforcement agencies from across the state.

The graveside service will include a 21-gun salute, presentation of the American flag to Terry's widow, and Detective Terry's last call from dispatch over the radio.

Sunday night, female Edmond police officers and the wives of Edmond police officers gathered to make blue and black funeral wreaths to show their support for Terry and his family. News 9's Bobbie Miller, who's married to an Edmond police officer, participated. The Fraternal Order of Police paid for the supplies.

Terry is survived by his wife and teenage daughter.
