According to new data released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health, three more Oklahomans have died since last week from West Nile Virus complications.
Two of those deaths were in Oklahoma County, and one was in Ellis County. Oklahoma County now has a total of three West Nile Virus deaths.

The report from the state health department shows Garfield County has one death due to the virus.
There have been 38 confirmed cases of West Nile Virus, which is up six from last week. Four have been in Tulsa County, one each in Rogers, Cherokee, Muskogee and Pittsburg Counties in Green Country.
Oklahoma County has 18 confirmed cases and 13 hospitalizations.
