Overnight cooling combined with Saturday's rainfall to bring a foggy morning to several northeastern Oklahoma Counties.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for Cherokee, Craig, Delaware, Nowata, Ottawa, Okmulgee, Mayes, Muskogee, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner counties Sunday morning.

It has since been lifted.

Weather Alerts

Visibility was less than a quarter mile in spots, creating hazardous driving conditions in many areas.

Drivers were advised to slow down, use low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance between cars for sufficient stopping time.
