US Marshals announced Monday night a teenage girl missing since 2010 has been found in Edmond along with her mother, who is accused of kidnapping her.

Marshals say 52-year-old Carla Osborne abducted her daughter Lillie Warren from Kansas City, Missouri, three years ago, after she lost custody. Osborne was just supposed to take the then 10-year-old girl for a visit, but instead she took off.

Osborne did have family in Oklahoma several years ago, but US Marshals say the family member closest to her has died. Investigators say Osborne and her daughter were essentially homeless, and were forced to move from house to house. They were staying with a friend they met at an Edmond restaurant when Marshals found them.

Osborne was arrested and booked into the Logan County jail for child abduction, and interference with child custody.

Lillie is in DHS protective custody. Her father is heading to Oklahoma from Kansas City to pick up his daughter.
