A six-year-old Edmond girl reunites with her mom, who serves in the Air National Guard. The two haven't seen each other in four months since her mom was deployed overseas.

Tech Sgt. Tiara Glover has served in the Air National Guard for 12 years. She enlisted right out of high school and says the hardest part about being away is not seeing her daughter.

First-grader Cheyenne Davis dressed as the cutest cadet while waiting for her mother's plane to arrive in Oklahoma City.

"I haven't got to see her in a long time," Cheyenne said. "I want her to know that I love her."

Cheyenne has been staying with her Great Aunt Cindy Powdrill in Sapulpa while her mother was away in the Middle East.

"It's been so hard, they cried each other to sleep, her mom sung her to sleep so many nights, and they face timed," Powdrill said.

"Tiara's mom passed away years ago, and her mom missed out on so much of this, and she Tiara's whole world."

It wasn't long before Cheyenne and her mom were face to face. The two ran to each other in Will Rogers Airport. Cheyenne leaped in her mother's arms.

"It feels so good I missed her so much," Glover said in tears.

"It was so hard to be away from her, but so good to be home, I'm shaking."

And Tiara wasn't the only mom elated to see her little girl, so was Senior Airman Tiffany Moore.

"So amazing, to be able to hold my daughter, it's nice," Moore said with her 3-year-old daughter in her arms.

Both moms say it's such a struggle being away from their little princesses.

Cheyenne was excited to see her mom kept her stuffed-pink bunny.

"This bunny went on every single flight, Cheyenne gave it to me right before I left," Glover said.

"That bunny has a lot of miles on it, see it's still on mommy's bag."

Cheyenne even saved all her money for all the months her mom was away for one final surprise.

"I have this to take you out to lunch," Cheyenne said, holding a wad of bills.

Glover is a part of the 137th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron. She says she will get to stay home in Edmond for at least a year.
