The Cherokee Nation says it will offer jobs to employees at the Keetoowah casino in Tahlequah.

The Keetoowah casino is set to close at midnight Friday.

The Cherokee Nation claims jurisdiction over the land, but the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians has fought to keep its only casino, saying it's their tribe's biggest money maker.

There are job fairs planned for the displaced casino employees starting Tuesday.
