The Oklahoma Highway Patrol made more than a dozen arrests and issued more than a hundred traffic citations and warnings in overnight saturation patrols, the agency said.

Fifteen uniformed troopers patrolled the Tulsa-metro area from 7 p.m. Friday until 3 a.m. Saturday to support the national "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

Troopers made 12 DUI arrests, one drug arrest, performed five motorist assists and doled out 111 citations and warnings.

"We have some of the greatest DUI enforcers in the state... possibly the nation. I have no doubt many lives were saved by their continued hard work and dedication," said Troop B Commander, Capt. Jerry Reagan.

During the saturation patrols, Troop B troopers investigated one minor collision. The crash involved two vehicles and occurred at 8:19 PM on Interstate 244 at Utica Avenue. No one was transported from the scene.
