Rock bands are taking center stage Tuesday in the latest blockbuster concert benefiting Oklahoma tornado victims.

Headliners include bands with ties to Oklahoma, like the Flaming Lips, which formed in Norman in 1983, and Kings of Leon, whose members grew up in Talihina.

The Rock for Oklahoma show is set for Tuesday night at Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City. Other performers include Jackson Browne, Built to Spill, Grace Potter and Ben Kweller.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the United Way of Central Oklahoma.

The show follows back-to-back benefit concerts featuring country music's top stars, like Blake Shelton, Toby Keith and Garth Brooks.
