Enid Man Drowns In Kaw Lake In Kay County
KAY COUNTY, Oklahoma - Crews have recovered the body of an Enid man who drowned in Kaw Lake in Kay County Friday afternoon.
It happened at 3:15 p.m. near the Bear Creek Cove on Kaw Lake.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 70-year-old Billy Ging was en route to tow his grandson's boat back to shore when his own boat flipped over.
Ging was partially wearing a life vest. It was wrapped around his arm.
