Convict Considered Armed And Dangerous Missing From Vinita Prison

Authorities say a man serving a four-year sentence in a Vinita prison went missing Monday afternoon and is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Authorities say a Tulsa man serving a four-year sentence in a Vinita prison that went missing Monday afternoon is considered armed and dangerous.

Tyler Harp, 21, is serving time for second degree burglary out of Tulsa County. His term began on April 26, 2013.

Harp was confirmed missing from the Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center at 4:40 p.m. Monday.

The Department of Corrections says Harp is 5-foot-9, 180 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Department of Corrections Fugitive Warrants Division at (405) 425-2570.
