A short but wild police chase comes to a crashing halt near the Will Rogers World Airport at the intersection of S.W. 90th Street and May Avenue.

Oklahoma City police say the ordeal started around 1 a.m. Monday after an officer in the area noticed a man driving a truck on two flat tires. The officer attempted to pull over the truck to make him aware of the flat tires, but the man, later identified as 28-year-old Alexander Kensell, refused to stop.

Eventually, Kensell hit a dip in the road near S.W. 90th Street and May Avenue and crashed the truck. That's when police were able to move in and take him into custody.

Police say Kensell was intoxicated but was not hurt. No one else was in the truck.

At last check, Oklahoma City had not released what charges Kensell'll be facing for the pursuit and alleged driving under the influence.
