All Clear Given After Bomb Threat Called In To Will Rogers Airport
OKLAHOMA CITY - The all clear has been given at Will Rogers Airport after a bomb threat was called in around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The caller was very specific, telling airport officials the bomb would go off at 7:45 p.m.
Homeland Security came to sweep the facilities for explosives, and 7:45 came and went with nothing happening.
"Any kind of threat is taken very seriously, so they're looking and they have their dogs coming in and we're just kind of investigating it at this point," said airport spokesperson, Karen Carney.
The airport did not evacuate or delay flights. Officials say they did not think the threat was credible.
