Country music star and Moore native Toby Keith has announced his tornado relief concert will be held Saturday, July 6, in Norman, and feature some of the biggest names in country music.

The Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert will be held at the University of Oklahoma's Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman. The concert will feature country music legends Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Willie Nelson and Ronnie Dunn.

Tickets go on sale Friday, June 21 at 10 a.m. All seats will cost $25 and there's an eight-ticket purchase limit. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or can be charged by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit The United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

Keith says this event is deeply personal to him.

"I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I've got lots of family and friends who were directly affected," he says. "I know these folks and they're resilient, but we're going to keep helping them any way we can. I'm proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities."
