A 3.1 magnitude earthquake rattled residents in southeast Oklahoma just before 2 a.m. Monday.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the center of the quake was located nine miles northeast of Kingston, 12 miles northwest of Durant, and 110 miles southeast of Oklahoma City.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.

The early-Monday morning earthquake comes two days after a small quake Saturday in central Oklahoma. That 2.1 magnitude quake was recorded at 9:34 p.m. northwest of Spencer.
