Family Pleads For Information In Finding OKC Man's Killer

An Oklahoma City family is speaking out, hoping someone out there will reveal who killed their loved one.

The victim's children and sister say they can't rest until the killer is caught.

Oklahoma City police said so far, none of the tips they've received in this case have led them to the identity of the person responsible for the murder. And that's something the family just can't understand.

"I just feel like they need to try a little harder," said McShunda Wright, McQuallias Wright's sister. "I feel like there's something they can come up with it seems like they would."

Wright is still devastated over the loss of her brother. It was back on January 30 that a family member found McQuallias Wright inside his mobile home off N.E. 59th street near post road. They say he had been shot in the back.

"It's a hard thing and these people are out here running around free, and we don't have no leads or no clues as to who did it," Wright explained.

She says the death has been hard on the entire family, especially his children. They just want someone to be held accountable.

"I was a daddy's girl, and to have him just taken from me," said Quanisha Wright, as she wipes away a tear. "If you know anything then just please, please come forward. And that will help us."

"If anybody out there even seen or heard or saw something suspicious out there where my father was killed, you don't even have to make yourself known," said McQuaillias Wright Jr. Wright's son. "Just call anonymously to the police or the detective."

Both his older children say they want to break this cycle of violence and lead a straight and narrow life.

They say their father's violent death needs to be the last.

"We're tired of hurting," said his daughter Quanisha. "We've going to be hurting forever, but it will be a relief to know somebody knows something."

"I just hope whoever did it come forward, because they can't hide forever," said McShunda Wright.
