Oklahoma Veteran's War Medals Stolen From Yukon Apartment

An Iraqi war veteran who lives in an apartment in Yukon says one of his former neighbors burglarized his apartment while he was at work last Monday.

Samuel Schorr, 27, says he was wounded while fighting in Iraq six years ago. He says the person who stole thousands of dollars in electronics equipment from his apartment also stole his war medals, including a purple heart.

"I have lost everything I have and if it wasn't for my church and my friends I wouldn't have anything," he said.

While Schorr says he's positive about who's responsible, Yukon Police say they are investigating all leads.
