An 18 year old is behind bars, accused of murdering a nurse in her south Oklahoma City home.

Sheila Stanley was found stabbed to death inside her bedroom back in December.

Bryson Baker, 18, was arrested at the Lakewood Apartments late Thursday night and court records state Baker knew the victim's ex-boyfriend.

The police report states it was two friends checking on Stanley who discovered the wooden door to her home on Oxlow Ct. wide open. They called police immediately worried something had happened to her. They were right. Now, almost four months later, police have arrested a person for that murder.

According to court documents obtained by News 9, Baker was staying at the home of Stanley's "former boyfriend", who said he allowed Baker "to live at his residence for free". He agreed to talk on the phone as long as we did not reveal his name.

Court papers state this former boyfriend contacted police about some jewelry he found hidden in a sock, which he found in a bag in Baker's room. Jewelry he knew to be Sheila Stanley's. The court document states he also found a cell phone belonging to Stanley.

The former boyfriend says he immediately kicked Baker out and then contacted police. Now he says he fears for his own family.

Baker is currently sitting in the Cleveland County Jail. He has yet to be formally charged.
