Oklahoma County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an odd incident that ended with a hit-and-run accident just south of the town of Harrah, Saturday afternoon.
It happened on SE 44th St., in between S. Dobbs and S. Harrah roads.
According to a report from the sheriff's office, two men driving pickup trucks, one of which was hauling a flatbed trailer, engaged in some sort of aggressive behavior with one another.
One of the trucks sped around the other and pulled off to the side of the road. Deputies say that driver then got out of his truck, stood in the roadway and began making angry gestures at the driver of the other pickup.
When the second truck tried to pass, the trailer he was hauling hit the man, who was standing in the road, in the shin area and may have broken both of his legs. That man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital in stable condition.
Later, the driver of the pickup with the flatbed voluntarily contacted the sheriff's office wanting to tell his side of the story. Deputies believe the man did not intentionally hit the victim. Neither driver has been identified at this time.
The incident is still under investigation.
