Tulsa's Most Wanted Arrested For Armed Robbery

A convicted felon wanted for two counts of robbery with a firearm was arrested Monday. Steve T. Verner was TPD's Most Wanted suspect of the week.

He was arrested by members of the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force near 6600 East Latimer Place.

Court records show Verner was one of a trio who robbed two men at gunpoint. An older man lured the two victims to the area where they were robbed, documents state.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, the robbers got away with $540 in cash in February of 2013. Verner, also known as Trey, was identified in a photo lineup by the victims.

Steve Verner is described as a 32-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5'07" and weighs 170 pounds. Verner has a criminal history in Tulsa County including firearms, theft and drug possession convictions.
