Edmond Man Critical After Vehicle Falls On Head

An Edmond man is in critical condition after a car he was working on slipped off of a carjack, crushing his head between the bumper and the concrete pavement of an apartment complex parking lot.

An Edmond man is in critical condition after a car he was working on slipped off of a carjack, crushing his head between the bumper and the concrete pavement of an apartment complex parking lot.

The accident occurred at the Spring Creek apartment complex located at 777 E. 15th St., just before 6:30 p.m.

According to police, the man was working on a black Cadillac and did not have the vehicle properly secured on a carjack. The vehicle fell while the man was working, pinning his head to the pavement.

Crews with the Edmond Fire Department were able to free the man. He was then transported by ambulance to Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City where he is listed in critical condition.

Police have not identified the victim. No other information has been released at this time.
