Your 2 Cents: TSA Allowing Knives On Plane

The TSA is going to allow airline passengers to carry on small knives. I say there's no point to it. Here's what you had to say.

Kelly first: "I think it's stupid. I mean just to make the TSA's job easier to look for more important things....really?"

Dick in Del City: "If a passenger attempts to board a plane with a paper tablet and an old fashioned wood pencil, is the pencil confiscated? A hard lead wooden drafting pencil is every bit as dangerous as an ice pick or screwdriver."

Harold from Edmond: "You are just caving to fear. Since the first hi-jacking in the sixties, the feds have pushed the wimpification of America."

Melissa asks: What on Earth do you need a pocket knife on a plane anyway?!?"

But Gaye says: "Finally! Having a basic right restored. Why should thousands of travelers be penalized because of what a few terrorists did?"

Heather says, a knife is OK: "But I can't take a SEALED soda through or a tube of toothpaste?"

Finally from Pamela in Mustang: "It'll be fine ‘til some idiot does something stupid, then TSA will overreact and get even more invasive."
