Early Monday morning, firefighters battled the 40-acre grass fire in the area of N.W. 150th Street and Rockwell. However, strong winds between 30 to 40 mph pushed the flames toward a large, two-story home, located in the 7200 block of N.W. 150th Street, occupied by two brothers.

Firefighters rescued the men, and no one was hurt.

Officials determined that someone placed an explosive device in the mail box, which started the grass fire.

On Tuesday, eight teenagers were arrested in connection with the fire. They confessed to the crime, according to authorities.

The teens all face arson charges for starting the grass fire.
