Due to unplayable field conditions in Ada this week, Southeastern's conference series against East Central has been cancelled. The Savage Storm will instead host No. 12 Emporia State for a Saturday double-header beginning at 1 p.m.

SE enters the weekend with a 14-3 record off a six-game sweep of the NFCA Division II Leadoff Classic, propelling the Storm to a No. 2 national ranking.

ESU comes to town with a 6-0 record after sweeping through the UAM 7-State Classic in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The Hornets picked up wins against six Great American Conference schools in that event.

Stephanie Goodwin and Cacy Williams lead ESU at the plate, each posting averages better than .500.

The Hornets are led in the circle by Karley Schmelzer who is off to a 5-0 start with a 0.50 ERA.
