Firefighters battled the 40-acre grass fire. However, strong winds between 30 to 40 mph pushed the flames toward a large, two-story home occupied by two brothers.

Firefighters rescued the men, and no one was hurt. Unfortunately, the fire damaged their home. Total damage to the home was estimated to be $275,000 and approximately 40 acres of grass were burned.
