Fire crews quickly extinguished a grass fire just southwest of the town of Guthrie, Friday afternoon.

Firefighters from Oak Cliff and Deer Creek responded to the scene, located at 5451 W. Waterloo Rd. near the Pennsylvania Ave. intersection.

Once on scene, crews were able to get control of the small grass fire. It was located in a very rural area and no structures were threatened.

The cause of the fire has not been determined. No one was injured in the blaze.
