I know we get tired of hearing about kids who are causing trouble, so tonight something to cleanse your palate with so to speak and this is really magical.

Students at Owasso High School recently started a campaign called "Dress Nathan Out."

Nathan Mitcham is a manager for the basketball team, and a special needs student. His classmates wanted him to have a chance to dress for a game before he graduates.

They started an online campaign that went viral, celebrities got on board Tweeting it out and Nathan was given permission to put on a uniform for Owasso's game Tuesday night with Sand Springs. That's where the magic comes in.

With four minutes left, Nathan actually got into the game. The crowd, wearing "Dress Nathan Out" T-shirts, was thrilled.

But nobody expected what happened next. The manager disappeared and the "baller" took over. You guessed it, Nathan scored a delicate floater down the lane.

Then he scored again, a bomb, a beautifully arched 3-pointer. And the crowd was delirious!

Nathan drilled another 3-pointer before it was all over, and he was carried from the court just as he probably dreamed he would be some day.

Congratulations Nathan, and to his classmates, nice job kids, we needed that.

I'm Kelly ogle and that's MY 2 Cents.
