Police Respond To Shooting In NW OKC

Police are investigating a shooting that took place Wednesday night at an apartment complex in northwest Oklahoma City.

It happened at 6808 Deacon Ave., near Wilshire Blvd.  and Lyrewood Ln.

Oklahoma City Police say the shooting appears to be the result of a domestic violence situation.

According to police, a woman called 911 and told dispatch that she had shot her boyfriend. Police then say the woman fled the scene in black pajamas. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No other details are known at this time.
