Crews Battle Apartment Fire In SE OKC

Crews have extinguished a fire at an apartment fire in southeast Oklahoma City, Sunday afternoon.

It happened at the Madison Village apartment complex located at 4215 SE 53^rd St.

According to investigators, the fire started in the laundry area at the complex. Preliminary damage estimates have not been released. Firefighters did not say whether or not residents had to be evacuated.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
