Police: One Shot During Apparent Home Invasion In Norman

A man was shot during an apparent home invasion in Norman Friday night.

According to Norman police, at about 10 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the report of a gunshot victim at a home, located in the 3300 block of Woodsboro Dr.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man inside the house with multiple gunshot wounds. Early indications suggest that the victim was shot during a home invasion, according to police.

The victim was transported to Norman Regional Hospital with injuries that don't appear to be life-threatening. Police have not released his identity pending notification of family.

Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
