Authorities say remains found three weeks ago in Osage County belong to a 62-year-old man who disappeared in August 2012 after leaving a casino.

Osage County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Charlie Cartwright says state medical examiners confirmed that the remains belong to Timothy Hauser of Bartlesville.

A bowhunter discovered the remains December 29 in a pasture about four miles west of Bartlesville. Hauser disappeared August 9 from an Osage County casino, and authorities believe he was beaten and robbed.

Trysta Shaffer, 28, and Rusty Boyd Petty, 41, both of Bartlesville, were arrested in August and charged with robbing Hauser.

Kathleen Roland, 36, of Bartlesville, was arrested in November and charged with accessory to robbery.

Cartwright tells the Bartlesville newspaper, Examiner-Enterprise that he anticipates prosecutors will file murder charges against Shaffer and Petty now that Hauser's remains have been identified.
