Candlelight Vigil Planned In SW OKC For Shooting Victim

A candlelight vigil is planned for Anthony D. Hartfield Jr. on Wednesday, January 16 at 8 p.m. Hartfield was shot to death inside his home Monday morning.

Friends and family will remember a young man who was gunned down in his own home on Monday.

Anthony D. Hartfield Jr., 20, was shot and killed during a home invasion just after 3 a.m. Monday, January 14.

Police first responded to a burglary at the home located in the 1200 block of N.E. 46th Street, near Lottie Avenue. As they headed to the scene, though, the call was updated to a shooting. When police arrived, they found Hartfield shot to death inside the house.

A candlelight vigil is planned for Hartfield on Wednesday, January 16 at 8 p.m. The vigil will be held at the Western Hills Baptist Church's basketball court located at 401 S.W. 44th Street in Oklahoma City.
