Winter Weather In Dallas Delays Flights Into, Out Of OKC

Winter weather in the Dallas Fort Worth area has delayed and canceled flights in and out of Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport (WRWA).

Southwest Airlines temporarily shut down its operations at Love Field early Tuesday because of sleet and freezing rain. According to the WRWA website, several flights to and from Love Field are delayed. The weather has also impacted Southwest flights between Oklahoma City and Houston's Hobby Airport.

American Airlines has also canceled several flights between WRWA and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.

Passengers are urged to contact airlines to check the status of their flights before leaving for the airport.
