EDMOND, Oklahoma - One person was shot at an Edmond gun range, Thursday afternoon.

The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the outdoor Edmond Police range. The range is not open to the public.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, located at 7401 E. Danforth Rd.  A medical helicopter was also called in to transport the victim to OU Medical Center.

A spokesman for the FBI has confirmed that the injured officer is an FBI agent. The gunshot wound was to the agent's leg. He is now listed in stable condition at the hospital.

The spokesman said the shooting was 'accidental', but did not say if the injury was self-inflicted or if the agent was shot by another officer at the training facility.
