The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has canceled an Amber Alert for two children, ages 7 and 4, taken by their drug-addicted mother.

Kylee Nichols, 7, and Blake Nichols, 4, were found safe Thursday afternoon. Lincoln County deputies say the children were found at Sooner Haven Apartments at N.E. 36th and Prospect in Oklahoma City. They are safe.

Read Hausam's probable cause affidavit.

The girl and boy went missing Thursday morning from a home at 331066 E. 931 Road in Wellston. Deputies say the children's father went to get the kids ready for school , but they were both missing from their bedrooms.

It's believed the girl and boy were taken by their 30-year-old mother Misty Hausam. She does not have custody of the children.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office says Hausam is mentally unstable and heavily uses methamphetamine. Police have taken her into custody.
