Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops announced Friday the participation status for two Jalen Saunders and Stacy McGee prior to the upcoming AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic in Dallas.

Stoops said Stacy McGee will not travel to the game nor participate in any activities related to the game. Jalen Saunders will participate in the game.

OU clarified through a press release that the information and history in each of the individual matters are unique, thus resulting in different participation decisions for this game.

The release also added that if other disciplinary measures are taken, they will be handled internally in keeping with existing team policy.

McGee, a senior defensive tackle, was charged Monday morning with driving under the influence, as well as, driving with a suspended license. McGee was also suspended the first six games of the 2012 season for possession of marijuana charges he received in February.

Saunders, a wide receiver transfer from Fresno State, was charged with possession of marijuana on Dec. 2.
