OKLAHOMA CITY - The owner of a stolen pickup truck called Oklahoma City police Thursday afternoon after spotting several suspects driving down the street in his stolen vehicle.

A few hours after his pickup truck was stolen, the owner spotted the truck in southeast Oklahoma City with three suspects inside the vehicle. He followed the truck and called police.

The Oklahoma City police helicopter, Air One, began following the truck and notified officers on the ground of its location. Police say the suspects in the truck tried to speed away, but crashed at S.E. 16th Street and Phillips Avenue.

Three people -- a female and two males -- jumped out of the truck and tried to run away. Police quickly caught up to the suspects and arrested them.
