The Senior Bowl confirmed Friday that University of Oklahoma offensive lineman Lane Johnson and quarterback Landry Jones have been invited to represent the Sooners in the 2013 Senior Bowl. It will mark the 16th consecutive year that Oklahoma has been represented in the all-star contest.

The game will be played at Ladd-Peoples Stadium in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 26, 2013, and will be televised by NFL Network.

Johnson started 10 games at left tackle for the Sooners this season after opening 11 games at right tackle in 2011. He was named All-America Third Team by CBSSports.com and earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors from the coaches in 2012. The Groveton, Texas, native has made a remarkable transformation after beginning his collegiate career as a quarterback at Kilgore College. Following a redshirt season in 2009 at Oklahoma, he worked at tight end and defensive end before moving into the lineup as an offensive tackle.

Jones, a product of Artesia, N.M., owns the most victories (39) of any quarterback in OU history, and is also the Big 12's all-time leader in passing yards (16,368) and total offense (16,000 yards). Named to the All-Big 12 Second Team by AP in 2012, Jones was the only FBS quarterback to post a pair of 500-yard passing games in 2012. He threw for a school-record 554 yards and tied his own single-game school mark with six touchdown passes in a 50-49 comeback win at West Virginia.
