Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy announced the signing of two junior college linemen to national letters of intent today. Trinity Valley CC offensive lineman Brandon Garrett and Arizona Western CC defensive end Sam Wren will both enroll at OSU for the spring, 2013 semester.

"We certainly need some defensive ends because we're graduating three good players and we need someone who can come in and impact us right away and we feel Sam Wren can give us that," Gundy said. "The same thing on the other side of the ball – we need some impact at offensive line. We've got to have guys that can come in and start the season at least as a backup and then work in as they pick up the system. That's really what you're looking for in these two-year guys.

"Brandon Garrett is getting bigger and stronger and really should be able to help us in our run game and in the pass, because he's got good feet. Wren, we're expecting him to be a third-down pass rush guy to start until he gets going."
