Chemical Leak At Midwest Regional Hospital In MWC

A chemical leak raised an alarm Tuesday at Midwest Regional Hospital in Midwest City.

The leak occurred around 2:30 p.m. Hazardous materials crews determined a sterilization chemical leaked out of an operating room. A machine set of an alarm and alerted staff to the leak.

It appears no one was ever in danger. Crews are repairing the leak, and staff and patients are back in the hospital.
