Norman Store Giving Away 150 Christmas Trees To Charity
NORMAN, Oklahoma - It is the season of giving, and a local businessman is trying to make sure everyone has the happiest holiday possible, complete with a Christmas tree.
The owner of the Old General Store in Norman has about 150 Christmas trees that they are giving away to charity, for people who typically wouldn't have one.
The owner got the idea from his employee, Shannon Pierce, who was unemployed last year.
And if it weren't for the help of others, Pierce wouldn't have had a Christmas.
The trees will be given out at the Toys for Tots distribution.
