STILLWATER, Oklahoma - Word that Oklahoma State Head Football Coach Mike Gundy has been exploring other head coaching opportunities has rankled some in Stillwater.

Gundy played quarterback at his alma mater in the mid-1980's, and has been OSU's head coach since 2005.

Last season, the Pokes finished second in the BCS rankings. NO other OSU team has ever finished higher.

OSU Freshman Andrew Barnes says it's likely Gundy is just looking for a raise.

"I don't see him going anywhere. I think it's just a ploy to get somebody flustered or something like that," he said.

Mike Gundy makes around $3.5 million, and is the 11th-highest-paid head coach in college football.
