PUTNAM CITY, Oklahoma - It's not every day you see a Hollywood star in Oklahoma. Actor James Marsden stopped by a Putnam City elementary school on Monday to read to the children at the school.

James Marsden, who was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in 1973, came to the Northridge Elementary School to read to all the third-grade students.

According to one of the third-grade teachers at the school, Marsden came to the school because his younger sister teaches third-grade classes there as well.

Marsden is famous for his role as "Cyclops" in the first three "X-Men" movies. He is also well-known for his part in several other movies, including Superman Returns, Enchanted, The Notebook, and 27 Dresses.
