Chocolate Macaroon

Chocolate Macaroon

Ingredients:

1 pkg of shredded coconut

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp pure vanilla paste

1/2 tsp almond extract

3 egg whites

1/4 tsp kosher salt

1 pkg chocolate chips

1 tsp butter

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Combine the coconut, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla paste in a large bowl. Beat the egg whites till they form peaks. Fold in the coconut mixture to the egg whites. Using a cookie scoop place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes or until they are golden brown. Allow to cool.

Melt chocolate in the microwave till smooth. Stir in the butter. Dip the tops of the macaroons into the chocolate. Allow to set. Serve.
