Man Wounded During NW OKC Shooting, Then Arrested For Murder

Police have arrested a man who was shot and wounded during what investigators say was a drug deal that turned deadly Thursday night at a northwest Oklahoma City apartment complex.

Neighbors called police around 7 p.m. after hearing gunshots at Country Oaks Apartments at 3101 N.W. 150th Street. When officers arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds.

Jonathan Braggs, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. Johnathan Daniels, 20, was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released. He was then arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of felony murder and robbery.

Police say Braggs and Daniels were conducting a drug transaction when the shooting occurred. Police say a third person was involved, but an arrest warrant has not been issued for that person.
