The clock is ticking for some Oklahoma workers.

Hostess has given striking employees a 4 p.m. Thursday deadline to get back to work, or the company will start liquidating.

Workers in Tulsa and across the country are protesting proposed wage and benefits cuts.

The maker of Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Snoballs says if the strike doesn't end Thursday, all 18,000 employees nationwide will be laid off and the company will go out of business.

News On 6 spoke to two Tulsa members of the Bakery, Confectionary, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union who say they're not backing down in spite of the company's threat to close down.

The say the company has tried to pressure the BCTGM union before.
