Del City Police are searching for a man and woman accused of robbing two pharmacies at gunpoint, and stealing hundreds of prescription pills.

Both robberies occurred within the same week. Police obtained surveillance video from one of the robberies at CVS Pharmacy on November 7.

Police say the man and woman walked into the store and appeared to be regular customers. They waited at the counter for a few minutes, but then the man pulled out a gun and jumped over the counter. While startled customers watched, the suspect fired off one gunshot.

His female accomplice also jumped over the counter. Police say she grabbed as many pills as possible, while her armed cohort forced the pharmacist to open locked cabinets filled with painkillers. The two were in and out of the pharmacy within minutes.

They robbed the second pharmacy just three days later.

No was hurt during either robbery, but police say the suspects are dangerous. Officers say the male suspect is white and about 30 years old. He stands 6 feet and weighs approximately 180 pounds. The female is believed to be Hispanic, around 31 years old, 5 feet 2 inches tall and 125 pounds.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to call the Del City Police Department.
