OSBI agents and Sheriff's deputies are tracking down new developments in an execution-style killing in Lincoln County. Investigators are hoping News 9 video will help lead them to the killers. Meanwhile, the Medical Examiner hopes another tattoo will help identify the victim.

OSBI tells News 9 it will be sending agents to the KWTV studios to review video shot Friday at the crime scene. Investigators want to learn more about two men News 9's Michael Konopasek and photojournalist Cody McDonell saw loitering in the area.

The community where the murder took place is on high alert. People are nervous after learning the murder is likely part of a crimespree targeting the area.

"It's just crazy," Lincoln County resident Jonna Jackson said. "[It] makes me want to lock my doors."

Deputies and agents are looking for at least two suspects they believe played roles in the murder as well as a kidnapping, home invasion and abduction. Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty says each crime was a separate incident occurring no more than one mile from where the body was found.

"One of the people that is a person of interest lives in that area and we haven't found him yet," Dougherty said in a press conference Thursday.

On Friday, a News 9 camera spotted one man walking away from the crime scene. A second man was lurking behind a treeline and was hard to see. Moments later, the crew saw the men in a black BMW driving away. It all seemed suspicious, so News 9 shared that information with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department and OSBI.

"OSBI is very thankful that once [News 9 was] at the scene and was confronted by these individuals … [that you] were able to get some information about their identity as well as a possible tag number to a vehicle," OSBI spokesperson Jessica Brown said. "You called authorities immediately and provided that information. That could help in this investigation greatly."

Investigators say the victim's ankles and wrists were tied together and a pillow case was placed over his head. The victim was shot twice from behind.

"To do that to someone, you've got a pretty jacked-up mentality," Lincoln County resident Heather Cook said.

Deputies believe members of a southside Oklahoma City gang could be involved in the murder. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says everyone they have been interviewing has been high on meth since 5 a.m. Monday. The sheriff says their stories keep changing minute by minute.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim. They are hoping tattoos will help. If you recognize the tattoos or have any additional information, call the OSBI at 1 (800) 522-8017.
