Oklahoma City Police arrested a 20-year-old man they say was drunk and falling into traffic in the southwest part of the city.

Witnesses called police October 18 when they saw Cody Dane Coachman stumbling into the street near S.W. 52nd Street near Penn Avenue.

An officer arrived and spoke to Coachman. The officer said Coachman slurred his speech and could not stand up. The officer made him sit on the curb while he questioned him.

According to the police report, Coachman told police he'd been drinking mouthwash. The officer found a large, half-empty bottle of mouthwash in Coachman's backpack.

The officer took Coachman into custody and gave him a breathalyzer test. He blew a .20, more than double the legal limit. Police arrested him and booked him into the Oklahoma County jail for public drunkenness.
